Qi Gong
Qi Gong – Cultivating Body, Mind, and Life Energy
Qi Gong is an ancient Chinese practice for cultivating body and mind, rooted in thousands of years of tradition.
In Chinese philosophy, “Qi” refers to the universal life energy, while „Gong” means practice, ability, or skill.
Qi Gong can therefore be translated as *“continuous work with Qi” or “the care and cultivation of life energy.”
The Benefits of Qi Gong
The balancing and energizing effects of Qi Gong can often be felt from the very first moment.
It calms the mind, releases tension, and restores inner strength for everyday life.
With regular Qi Gong practice, the body and mind become more balanced and resilient. The exercises strengthen the entire organism, support the immune system, and promote overall health and well-being.
Forms and Styles of Qi Gong
There are many different forms and directions within Qi Gong, offering a wide variety of health-preserving and health-promoting exercises.
Qi Gong can be practised while standing, sitting, or lying down – making it accessible to people of all ages and physical conditions.
I teach several styles of dynamic Qi Gong, such as Medical Qi Gong or Tai Chi Qi Gong, as well as Still Qi Gong or Yi Qi Gong.
In Yi Qi Gong, we move very little – or not at all – and guide the flow of Qi primarily through awareness, attention and our imagination.

Testimonials
I have been practicing Still Qi Gong with Claudia for almost 7 years now and I am very grateful to have found this gentle and very meditative Qi Gong method through her. With the help of Claudia’s Qi Gong lessons, I was able to regain my energy and centeredness and strengthen my self-healing powers. Her calm voice and the way she instructs the exercises help me to relax and feel the Qi. I really like the initial short dynamic Qi Gong exercises to feel myself better, while the subsequent meditative part of the Still Qi Gong helps me to center, relax and calm down. I also appreciate Claudia’s sense of humor and the fact that our lessons now take place online because it gives me the flexibility I need. I wouldn’t want to miss my weekly Qi Gong class!
I have been attending Claudia’s Qi Gong classes for many years and wouldn’t want to miss them. They bring me relaxation, balance and new energy. With her pleasantly calm voice and the mindful design of the class, Claudia succeeds in creating a special space: You feel that you have all the time in the world, that you can practice at your own pace and be completely with yourself, and that there is nothing to achieve. A wonderful experience.
I have been taking Qi Gong lessons with Claudia for many years. She finds an ideal mix between the moving and still forms of Qi Gong and guides you through the exercises with great dedication and knowledge. I can only recommend everyone to take part in a trial lesson and then decide whether Qi Gong is perhaps exactly what you have always been looking for.
I went to Qi Gong with Claudia once a week for more than six years. The calm exercises really helped me to relax and let go. It was my oasis – the only hour a week in which I was able to completely switch off my mind and at the same time calm and relax my body. The exercises are easy to understand and can be done by anyone. I can highly recommend Qi Gong with Claudia for anyone who feels the need for meditation and tranquillity under professional guidance.
I thoroughly enjoyed the way Claudia conveyed the enormous power that lies within the gentle movements. The conscious appreciation of stillness and meditation is wonderful.
