Qi Gong
Qi Gong is a Chinese method for cultivating body and mind which is thousands of years old. In Chinese philosophy “Qi” stands for universal life energy. “Gong” means “practicing”, but also “ability” or “skill”. Qi Gong can therefore be translated as “constant work on Qi” or “care and cultivation of Qi”.
The balancing and energizing effect of Qi Gong can be felt from the very first moment. It calms us down and gives us strength for everyday life. Regular practice strengthens and harmonizes the entire organism and generally promotes our well-being.
Different forms of Qi Gong
There are a large number of health-preserving and health-promoting exercises in the various directions of Qi Gong. We practise while standing, sitting or lying down.
I teach various forms of dynamic Qi Gong, e.g. Medical Qi Gong or Tai Chi Qi Gong, as well as Silent Qi Gong or Yi Qi Gong. In Yi Qi Gong we move little or not at all and direct Qi mainly through our attention and imagination.
Testimonials
I have been practicing Silent Qi Gong with Claudia for almost 6 years now and I am very grateful to have found this gentle and very meditative Qi Gong method through her. With the help of Claudia’s Qi Gong lessons, I was able to regain my energy and centeredness and strengthen my self-healing powers. Her calm voice and the way she instructs the exercises help me to relax and feel the Qi. I really like the initial short moving Qi Gong exercises to feel myself better, while the subsequent meditative part of the still Qi Gong helps me to center, relax and calm down. I also appreciate Claudia’s sense of humor and the fact that our lessons now take place online because it gives me the flexibility I need. I wouldn’t want to miss my weekly Qi Gong class!
I have been attending Claudia’s Qi Gong classes for many years and wouldn’t want to miss them. They bring me relaxation, balance and new energy. With her pleasantly calm voice and the mindful design of the class, Claudia succeeds in creating a special space: You feel that you have all the time in the world, that you can practice at your own pace and be completely with yourself, and that there is nothing to achieve. A wonderful experience.
I have been taking Qi Gong lessons with Claudia for many years. She finds an ideal mix between the moving and still forms of Qi Gong and guides you through the exercises with great dedication and knowledge. I can only recommend everyone to take part in a trial lesson and then decide whether Qi Gong is perhaps exactly what you have always been looking for.
I went to Qi Gong with Claudia once a week for more than six years. The calm exercises really helped me to relax and let go. It was my oasis – the only hour a week in which I could completely switch off my mind and at the same time calm and relax my body. The exercises are easy to understand and can be done by anyone. I can highly recommend Qi Gong with Claudia for anyone who feels the need for meditation and tranquillity under professional guidance.
I thoroughly enjoyed the way Claudia conveyed the enormous power that lies within the gentle movements. The conscious appreciation of stillness and meditation is wonderful.
