There’s so much pressure after New Year’s to reinvent ourselves — set resolutions, hit the ground running, create something new.

But when we look around, especially here in the northern hemisphere, nature is still in deep rest.

The energies are still very much Yin.

The Yang energies will start rising more strongly as spring approaches.
Even the Chinese New Year doesn’t begin for a few more weeks.

So if you’re feeling resistant to rushing or “getting back on track”, you’re simply in tune with nature. Trust yourself. Follow your own rhythm.

When we give ourselves rest and nourishment during times our systems crave it, we build the energy to grow and create when the time is truly right.

The energies of now support rest, gentle release of what we no longer need, and a quiet embracing of what’s beginning to stir beneath the surface.

I’m gonna be honest with you though: I DO feel the coming energy stirring. I do feel a powerful surge coming in – which does not mean it can’t be gentle.

But it’s no phase of full throttle yet.

And if you’re someone who is full of energy right now — wonderful! Go for it.
But if you’re not, and you feel odd about it, please know you’re not weak or behind.

We’re part of nature.

Our bodies are part of nature.
Trust your intuition. Believe what you feel.

One of the most amazing ways to learn to tune into our body, our heart, our soul is
Qi Gong & Stillness.

The gentle exercises lead us back to who we truly are, help us understand what we need and allow us to come home to ourselves.
