As we enter the year of the Fire Horse, I\u2019ve noticed many posts speaking about intensity, speed, change, and strong transformative forces. Fire and movement can sound dramatic \u2014 and yes, the image of the horse carries powerful energy. And yet it is no dramatic animal.<\/p>\n

A horse runs and leaps when it feels vitality and jo<\/strong>y.<\/h5>\n

It may also run when startled or afraid. Yet the horse is not careless by nature. It is attentive and sensitive to its surroundings. It responds to what it perceives.<\/p>\n

And just as naturally as it runs, it also stands quietly in the field, grazing. It rests. It plays.<\/p>\n

There is rhythm in its being \u2014 movement and stillness belonging together.<\/strong><\/h5>\n

In times when collective predictions speak of \u201cfiery\u201d energies, it can be easy to become unsettled or to feel we must act quickly. Yet we are always allowed to pause. We are allowed to take a breath before responding. We are allowed to sense inwardly what is true for us.<\/p>\n

If you feel an impulse to move, to change something, to leap \u2014 gently ask yourself where this impulse is coming from. From clarity and joy? Or from fear?<\/p>\n

Ground yourself. Feel your feet on the earth. Tune in with yourself, with your intuition.<\/strong><\/h5>\n

When we stay connected to ourselves, even strong energies can support us rather than overwhelm us.
\nThe Fire Horse does not ask us to panic. It invites aliveness, courage, warmth \u2014 balanced with awareness \u2014 and rest, too.<\/p>\n

May this new year bring you joy, fulfillment and peace.\u2028 May you trust your intuition and shape your path in your own way, without being carried away by energies or predictions that may not belong to you.<\/p>\n
